Depending on the shape and size of your face, you may require a different mask. One size does not fit all.

Some masks, such as disposable dust masks, should be replaced every day. Reusable masks will eventually become clogged and you may notice it becomes harder to breathe through – which means the filter needs changing.

How to wear a mask?

• Keep face dry and perform hand hygiene before taking a mask out

• Position the elastic bands around both ears

• Extend the mask to fully cover mouth, nose and chin. Make sure there are no gaps between your face and the mask

• Pull the ear band behind your ear and adjust the ear band. And mould the nose clip over nose bridge

• Cover your mask with both hands and check the tightness of the mask

• Not recommended for use by babies and infants under the age of 3 due to risk of suffocation
