Bangkok in July: A Food Lover’s Dream Come True ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿœ

July in Bangkok is nothing short of magical — even with the occasional rain, the city pulses with life, colour, and mouthwatering smells around every corner. This trip wasn’t about shopping or temples (although I love both!), it was purely about indulging in authentic Thai food — the kind locals eat, far from the polished tourist traps.

Highlights from My Food Adventures:

๐Ÿค Tom Yum Goong – Had a bowl from a Have a Zeed restaurant in Terminal 21. The broth was fiery, tangy, and absolutely addictive. It cleared my sinuses and warmed my soul!

๐Ÿœ Pad Thai – Had a plate from any restaurant with a long queue (always a good sign). Cooked on the spot, served on a banana leaf — the smoky wok hei was next level.

Tips for a Bangkok Food Trip:

✅ Don’t be afraid to eat where locals queue — even if it looks basic.

✅ Learn the Thai phrase “Mai Phet” (เน„เธก่เน€เธœ็เธ”) if you can’t handle spicy food — or risk crying (like I did).

✅ Go with an empty stomach and an open heart. Bangkok will take care of the rest.

Final Thoughts

This July trip to Bangkok reminded me that some of the most unforgettable meals aren’t found in fancy restaurants — but in bustling streets, late-night stalls, and shared tables with locals. It wasn’t just a food trip. It was a love letter to Thai culture, one bite at a time.

I’ll be back soon. With looser pants.
